The ancient name of the Obidlik was Obrlig. In the years 1919-1952 madrasahs functioned in Obidlik. There were 50 students studying at (each) madrasah. Bolshevism, following Marxist doctrines and relying on the state mechanism of terror of the 1920-1930s, unleashed a large-scale war against Islam.
