In 1934, archaeologist A. Mirmuhamedov discovered ancient paintings (Petroglyphs) on rocky stone near the village at the top of village of Bashkizilsay. In 1982, during the construction of the Nevich experimental “Koinot” an ancient cemetery, weapons and ceramics were found.
